Focus
Generally, my research focuses on teams, team training, virtual collaboration, and computer-supported cooperative work. Recently, my work has focused on developing Intelligent Team Tutoring Systems (ITTSs) that effectively and efficiently tutor teams in various domains.
Lab Description
The research in the Teamwork, Collaboration, and Training (TCT) lab can be applied to multiple domains - for example, academia, healthcare, or military - where team training is critical to maintaining capable team and task skills. Generally, this lab studies areas such as computer-supported cooperative work, team training, and virtual collaboration. The focus of this lab is to develop agents (e.g., Intelligent Team Tutoring Systems) and training environments that efficiently improve teamwork by sharpening task and team skills. Research thus far has focused on developing an Intelligent Team Tutoring System that provides feedback in a way that enhances team performance.
